I’ve had my eye on this product for a couple of years. I’m so excited to use this with both my boys who are 8U and 12U. I’m going to figure out the number of bands use for each of them. Both kids commented how they have watched videos of other kids using the bat. When my youngest came home he was already excited to hit a bucket of balls off the tee. Switching through 1 band and 2 band resistance.
My 9 year old has really liked it since pulling it out of the box one week ago. It comes ready to go and he started swinging right away. He is determined to increase the resistance bands and because of this swings it by himself. So far he has hit off of the tee and has hit soft toss with it as that has shown and more importantly gave him the feel of a good bat path. The bat is constructed well and seems pretty durable and am I hopeful it will last a long time. Overall, my son and I are very happy about The ProVelocity Baseball Bat.

Using at a high school level for varsity and jv players. Originally the bat was ordered July 2024. Within a year the barrel was broke. The 2 metal rings inside the barrel that hold the bands had multiple cracks in them and one completely feel out which prevent the band being held in place. The upper ring has has 7 cracks in it. Only 1 band holder is not cracked. The bottom ring in the barrel has 5 cracks in it. Warranty do not cover this so we had to buy a new barrel which ProVelocity did discount 50% for us. This review is for any team purchasing this training bat to know you will possibly have additional cost down the road as the brackets that hold the bands will not last.
Used it for a couple of NIT tourneys for my team and it has for sure helped their bat speed in this short time love the product so far
