Great training and growth piece of equipment!!

I am a dad of a 9th grade baseball player. I paid for this bat. I have no skin in the game. No bias. We have been using one for 3 years now and it is very effective. It is similar to using a heavy overloaded bat but it provides a “click” sound for feedback to let you know that you kept a good bat path and sequenced good enough. The 2 “click” sounds have a distance between them which lets you know you really had a good swing that was on path and properly sequenced so there is a range of feedback from good enough to optimal. That makes this a great tool when hitting off the tee by yourself. These bats are very durable and can be used off the tee, flips, and overhand darts no problem every day with real baseballs. I have done some medium-speed (50mph) bp throwing with them too but I’m not confident in doing that very often. You could use plyo balls or smash factor balls to hit off faster speeds and that would work great. The weight and tension makes hitters stronger. The design encourages and rewards clean mechanics. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it. I hope this helps you make your decision.

Our players utilize the bat in many different ways. They love to swing it as a warm up bat. They use it on deck and before they begin their swings for the day to make sure they feel a proper swing. We have also been utilizing to try to increase bat speed off front toss as the players go up in resistance after squaring the ball up two times in a row in their rounds.
